How the vibration is controlled
It runs from the same wireless remote that controls the head and foot sections, so there is no second handset to lose down the side of the bed. There are multiple intensity settings, so you can have it barely perceptible or firmly noticeable, and you turn it off the same way you turned it on.
On a split configuration — Split Queen, Split King or Split Cali King — each side is its own base with its own remote. One side can run vibration while the other stays still, which matters if one of you likes it and the other doesn't.
Is it noisy?
It is designed to be used at night, so it runs quietly. The honest caveat is that on a single shared mattress the vibration itself travels — your partner will feel it even if they can't really hear it. On a split base they won't, because the two halves move independently.
